In the newly released InfoByte, HADEN’s New Insights to Inform Decisions the Wisconsin Health Information Organization showcases the ability of its Health Attributes and Demographic Navigator (HADEN) to identify and rank Wisconsin communities. HADEN includes data on more than 5 million Wisconsin citizens obtained from the American Community Survey (ACS), the Area Deprivation Index (ADI), and the Social Vulnerability Index (SVI). HADEN can be used alone or in combination with other WHIO products. The new InfoByte focuses on 4 areas: insurance coverage by working adults; change in area deprivation index from 2015 to 2023; the cost burden of housing in Wisconsin; and, the percentage of Wisconsin households that have access to broadband and computers.
HADEN is a powerful tool that allows users to create detailed maps of the communities they serve by combining economic, social factors and health attributes.
